Enough. . .

Modern life whispers one message again and again: You are not enough. Not rich enough, not thin enough, not successful enough. Buddhism gently counters with a radical truth — you already have enough, and you already are enough.

The practice of “enough” is not complacency; it’s contentment born of awareness. When we stop comparing, we rediscover gratitude. When we stop grasping, we uncover peace.

Right now, look around you. Look within you. What you have is enough to begin. What you are is enough to love. The Buddha taught that wanting is the root of suffering; contentment is its release.

So practice enoughness. Eat one mindful meal. Appreciate one ordinary day. Smile at your reflection not for how you look, but for the miracle of being alive.

Enough isn’t a limit — it’s liberation.

Peace and Love, Jim
