Rain doesn’t negotiate.
It falls on sidewalks and gardens alike. On celebrations and sorrow. It doesn’t choose sides.
Equanimity is like this.
It doesn’t mean indifference. It means meeting experience without preference. Allowing joy and difficulty to pass through the same open heart.
When we stop labeling moments as good or bad, we begin to meet them as they are.
Life flows more freely when we release judgment.
Let today be weather.
