The Teacher. . .
Everything changes — this is one of life’s hardest and most liberating truths.
The seasons shift, relationships evolve, even our own bodies remind us that nothing stands still. Buddhism calls this anicca — impermanence — and it’s not meant to sadden us, but to awaken us.
When we resist change, we suffer. When we accept it, we grow. The flower’s beauty lies in its briefness; the sunset’s brilliance in its fading light.
Impermanence teaches us to love fully, knowing each moment is a gift that won’t come again. It reminds us to release our grip — on people, possessions, even our past selves.
Instead of fearing endings, bow to them. Every ending carries the seed of beginning. To see this truth clearly is to live without clinging, and to love without fear.
Peace and Love, Jim
