Transition Time. . .

There’s a sound to this time of year. It’s subtle at first. A few birds earlier in the morning, a breeze that feels a little warmer and people outside just a bit longer.

Then it builds and before you know it, summer is right there, knocking on the door. I’ve always loved this transition. Not because of what’s coming, but because of what it represents – possibility.

Longer days mean more time, not just physically, but mentally. It feels like there’s room again and space to breathe, to think and to be. We forget how much environment shapes us and how the shifting season can lift us. For me personally it reminds me of how the warmth can soften both my spirit and my mind (I suffer from seasonal affective disorder).

So maybe this is your invitation.

Step into it and take a walk. Stay outside a little longer and let your thoughts stretch out like the days themselves. You don’t have to do anything extraordinary, Just be present enough to notice that something is opening.

The heat and slower pace of summer encourage finding quiet, reflective moments, perhaps in the early morning or evening to find inner peace, reset, and cultivate a sense of hope as we walk forward into a new season and new mindset and that my friends is growth

Peace and Love, Jim
