Uninvited Thoughts. . .
Thoughts arrive without knocking.
Some are kind. Some are loud. Some replay old memories or rehearse future worries. None of them ask permission.
We often believe peace means stopping thoughts. But the mind thinks. That’s its nature.
The work is not silence.
The work is relationship.
Instead of fighting thoughts, try witnessing them. Watch them rise and fall like clouds drifting across a wide sky.
You don’t need to chase them.
You don’t need to solve them.
Just notice.
Each thought is a visitor. You decide how long it stays.
Presence creates distance. Awareness creates choice.
You are not your thoughts. You are the space that holds them.
And in that space, peace already lives.
Peace and Love, Jim
