Visitors. . .
Holidays tend to stir memories and emotions—grief, joy, nostalgia, longing, sometimes all in one day.
Buddhism teaches that emotions are visitors, not definitions. They don’t need to be fought or fixed—only acknowledged and welcomed. When we allow emotions to move naturally, they soften on their own.
Practice: When an emotion arises, name it softly and let it be, without judgment.
Peace and Love, Jim
