Embrace. . .

There is nothing more important than understanding reality and learning how to deal with it. Our environment is like a game, and we are characters in this game. In order to win, you must understand the rules of the game well.

Imagine that life is like a game with problems and puzzles to solve.
For each solved puzzle you get gems—this is a representation of your decision-making skills.

Only act on your emotions when they align with the logic of your game.
Emotions that come can help you or hurt you in your game.

Be a hyperrealist.
Have dreams, but choose your dreams wisely. This is almost always true: Dreams + reality + determination = a successful life.

Be radically open-minded and radically transparent.
This will accelerate your learning process.

Don’t let fears of what others think of you to stand in your way.
Becoming radically transparent is like becoming a public speaker: It’s awkward at the beginning, but the more you do it, the more comfortable you are with it.

Weigh second- and third-order consequences.
Very often, the first-order consequences are the temptations that cost us what we really want. For example, exercise is painful and time-consuming as a first-order consequence, but it’s desirable as a second-order consequence.

Peace and Love, Jim
