Light. . .

Winter’s dim mornings and early sunsets can feel heavy, but they’re also reminders of an ancient truth: our deepest illumination comes from within. Buddhism teaches that awareness is our lantern, shining even in difficult seasons.

Instead of resisting winter darkness, let it invite you inward. Let it show you where your inner light needs tending—patience, compassion, clarity, or rest.

Practice: Light a candle each evening and sit in silence for one mindful minute.

Peace and Love, Jim
