When we are children we want to know more, as young adults we seek knowledge and as we age we want to grow. If we look closely on some level we are all seeking the same thing throughout our live cycle – Wisdom.

So what is wisdom? I think that regardless of your age or skill point in life we can all be wise in our own ways, but to understand and use our wisdom through our moments, well that takes some time and more experience. I personally like to think in terms of buddhas terms that we are not considered wise for what we know; but wisdom is a result of being peaceful, loving and fearless.

So how can we grow wiser?

We can return to our curious wonder years as children. Think on it in this manner – Imagine that every person in the world is enlightened but you. They are all your teachers, each doing just the right things to help you, each day bringing another lesson and other opportunity to learn and grow.

We can also shape our attitudes and moments with others by remembering that whatever words we utter shape the moments, influence the energies and shape the days or our lives and the lives we touch. When we consider this carefully not only are we using wisdom we are growing wiser.

And finally we can always remember and apply the most fundamental point we can reach – The past is already gone, the future is not yet here. There’s only one moment for us to live.

Peace and Love, Jim
