No Instructions. . .
At some point, we started treating other people’s thoughts like instructions.
We adjust how we speak. We second-guess our choices. We shrink parts of ourselves to fit into spaces we were never meant to fit into.
Not because it’s true—but because it’s loud.
But most opinions are reflections, not truths. They are shaped by someone else’s experiences, fears, and expectations. They carry their history, not your reality.
You don’t need to fight every voice. That’s exhausting. You just need to decide which ones deserve a seat at your table.
Some voices offer perspective. Others only create noise.
The challenge is learning the difference.
Today, notice what’s influencing you.
Whose voice is guiding your decisions? Is it yours?
You don’t need permission to trust yourself.
You just need to listen.
Peace and Love, Jim
