Small and Sacred. . .
There you are—pushing a cart, scanning the shelves, juggling a list. It’s loud, it’s busy. But pause. Look around.
Everyone here is just like you: trying, choosing, deciding, feeding their families.
This moment is sacred too.
Mindfulness isn’t just for the meditation cushion. It’s for the checkout line, the cart traffic jam, the person who needs a smile more than you know.
When you pay attention, a grocery trip becomes an act of loving-awareness:
• Thank the hands that stocked your food.
• Smile at the child in the next aisle.
• Slow down. Breathe.
Even canned goods can teach impermanence.
Peace and Love, Jim
