Stay. . .

Staying present with discomfort is an act of courage.

Buddhist practice teaches us not to turn away when things become difficult. Instead, we learn to stay — with breath, sensation, and awareness.

This does not mean enduring harm. It means meeting inner experience honestly rather than escaping it. When we stay, we discover that discomfort is not permanent and not personal.

Staying reveals our resilience. We learn that we can hold pain without being consumed by it. We gain confidence in our capacity to meet life as it is.

The courage to stay opens the heart. It transforms fear into understanding and resistance into compassion.

Each moment of staying strengthens the path.

Peace and Love, Jim
