Forward! Always forward! This is a basic spirit of Buddhism. The Buddhas teachings are the language of truth, cause and effect. No aspect of life is free from those three values. Let us live with our gaze fixed on the honoring of these truths, not hung up on the past, or what might be. To advance earnestly within these truths is the essence of life and the essence of what it means to be a practitioner of Buddhism. Conquer the angry one by not getting angry; conquer the wicked by goodness; conquer the stingy by generosity, and the liar by speaking the truth. Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth. – The Buddha
