Breathing Through Becoming. . .
Breath is the first teacher.
Before we learned language, before we built stories about who we are, we were already breathing. In and out. Effortless. Faithful.
And still, it waits for us.
So often we approach breath as a tool. Something to fix stress. Something to calm the nervous system. And while it does that beautifully, breath offers something deeper.
Breath reminds us we are already here.
When life feels heavy, when identity feels uncertain, when becoming feels exhausting, return to breathing. Not to change anything. Just to notice.
Each inhale welcomes the present moment.
Each exhale releases what no longer needs to be carried.
We don’t breathe to improve ourselves. We breathe to remember ourselves.
Becoming doesn’t require force. Growth doesn’t need tension. Transformation happens naturally when awareness is steady and kindness is present.
Today, let your breath be enough.
Sit for a moment. Feel the rise of your chest. The soft fall of your belly. No performance required.
You are not behind.
You are arriving.
Peace and Love, Jim
